The girls room. This week I refused to tidy it. And so it seems we’ve reached quite the stalemate. Lucky for them we’re in the process of a huge clean out and a bedroom reshuffle, and soon its all being re-homed. I want so badly to tidy it, but I must not show weakness!!!!!!!

Sometimes when she looks at me with this face, I can picture her so clearly giving me the very same face when she’s a teenager. And I’ll be honest, it kinda scares the you know what out of me.

This is a session from way before we even left on the Caravan of Destiny Tour, so I guess you can say I’m trying desperately to play catch up before this year ends!!!!

Now, we all know how I loves me a Fat Baby, and Arie did not disappoint. As it turns out, he actually shares a name with a cute elephant. Coincidence? I don’t think so. He had some of the best facial expressions of any little human I’ve met, and was just so happy and content throughout the whole afternoon.

I was a little nervous, if I’m honest. You see, I do little kids: Babies. Toddlers, bubbles, toys, snot, tears, tanties, giggles, funny faces. I like little kids. Little kids like me. But a teenager? I wasn’t sure if I was cool enough. I don’t know whats in and whats out, unless we’re talking Ben 10 or Giggle & Hoot. Suffice to say, I felt very old and not very cool. I used to be cool. I think? Perhaps not…..

Britta is cool though. Laid back, gentle, polite, good at sports, likes school, and as I said, you only have to take one look at her to know she is amazingly, breathtakingly, heart stopping-ly beautiful.

I can’t wait to watch her career take flight!
